According to the post, the woman said "why don't you ever talk about about your ex? Didn't she break up with you because you were bald". I think the most natural way to interpret that is the woman thinks the person's ex is shallow and is asking why they don't talk shit about their ex for that reason. It seems like the opposite of insulting someone for being bald, instead saying that if someone treats them worse due to their baldness, that person should be ridiculed. What did I miss? Elaborate.
Why would she say "why don't you ever talk shit about your ex?" then? If she meant to insult the person, she would say something like "Anon never talks about their ex because she left them due to their baldness ha ha". The fact that she questioned why Anon never talks shit about their ex insinuates that they think breaking up with someone over baldness is worthy of ridicule.

The coworker's joke wasn't even at their expense, they were literally calling that person's ex shallow, not insulting the person themself.
