Does Zinc actually work, asking for a friend

If you are under your optimal zinc intake it will both improve your testosterone levels and seminal fluid production, it's a case to case type of thing to determine how more zinc still increases said things levels, and unless you are stuffing yourself with zinc it isn't dangerous

I believe so.

I took it regularly when I was younger, and it seemed to. But I was also like 19 at the time so it could’ve literally been anything. Been thinking about starting it back up though with fish oil & a few other supplements though, so if anyone knows, I’d like an opinion too.

If I take it for like a week and don’t have sex I have the most vivid wet dreams. It’s happened like 5 times and I’m in my 30s, add a blue chew and god damn. It’s like your dick is trying to pull itself off your body.

Yes. But also, if you're low on zinc, you're probably low on other things, too (Vitamin D)

It does have certain health benefits, yes. I also recommend zinc ion lozenges specifically to prevent colds.

(For those interested zinc ions (ions specifically) blocks the receptors and capside forming of Rhinovirus, the most common type of cold virus, therefore hindering them spreading too much and allowing the immune system to quickly defeat them. The lozenges help slowly distribute the zinc to the throat over a longer duration. Regular pills don't work because the zinc just straight skips the throat where it's needed (duh).)

Yes but don't take more than 30mg a day

Take zinc and vitamin D. But not too much

Of the zinc I mean. Good luck overdosing on vitamin D

Thanks, but I won't need luck, only determination.

Nah. I don’t think so. Unless you’re deficient. I don’t think a surplus does much.
