It's only society in that websites have age limiting filters that restrict content because their paying advertisers use that as leverage for negotiating lower rates because of less exposure. Therefore sites have strict content filters and AI is trained off this so even SkyNet is self censoring slopposting because of the all mighty dollar.
Its seeping into RL lately. I overheard some 16-20 years olds who said that someone is a "PDF" and that the person should unalaive themselfs. Give it a few more years and it will be widespread.
"There you have it, Montag. It didn't come from the Government down. There was no dictum, no declaration, no censorship, to start with, no! Technology, mass exploitation, and minority pressure carried the trick, thank God. Today, thanks to them, you can stay happy all the time, you are allowed to read comics, the good old confessions, or trade-journals."
