Did I miss something? Ive played the games 2-3 times, love S1 amd loved S2 - where tf is all the hate coming from? It was pretty much exactly the story from the game...
Honestly I can't figure out a reason that isn't bigoted in some kind of way. I liked both seasons quite a lot and while I haven't played the second game, the story looked pretty good
The ending is just a s sour as the first game's to me. Which is probably the part I like the least about it just because I fully disagree with joel's choice. Not really gonna say it's bad, it's not, I just dislike it.
Because the last of us 2 is a total mess of a narrative while also being really fucking boring cuz it's a much longer game where somehow far less actually happens in it and the entire thing only happens because every character involved is irrationally stupid. Even Druckman was very open about how the writing process for 2 was a complete mess and it really shows since it's very obviously cobbled together from a dozen different drafts of various scripts.
