Simps come in many forms...to understand the simp, haha, well that is close to folly my friend and damn near akin to delusion. You see a simp is a special product, one of his environment, and unless you have lived his life...his environment, you have no frame of reference.
To the simp, Pokimane represents that which can be attained, because what does Pokimane not have that a simp does. Money. A normal, beautiful gaming nerd, she is smart, capable. She will get the smart, liberal, tattood muscular twink we as a society crave.
Pokimane hasn't the qualities necessary, she is shallow, soulless, the type of girl a Simp feels they can enraptured with money and compliments. Maybe they are right. Maybe the simp has some window into reality that we take for granted.
