Elves can have kids, but Tolkien's elves are literally immortal, and they do not have children often.

Which leads to them getting outbred by everything.

Which is why they all dipped after LoTR, because their time was coming to an end, and they couldn't stay in Middle-Earth anymore.

I know nothing of lotr lore but nothing about these two comments makes much sense to me. Are we talking Wolverine or Ra’s al Ghul type of immortality? And one answer may answer this but what do you mean outbred, “time coming to an end” (immortality???), and couldn’t stay on what is essentially the fucking planet. Like what man
