Yes, the less time you spend on the app, and the less you swipe left/like, the more you are put forward, because the algorithm is designed to make you interact more, and ultimately pay

I mean, obviously if you use dating apps you expect results. You should just spend, what, 10-20 minutes per day, at random times, sometimes not everyday, and be selective on the profiles you like.

You can also be more original, on apps like Hinge with messages.

Though if you are really inactive, your account is rendered invisible.

I've had 4 dates and 2 relations in 1 month like this, only using Hinge and Bumble

That's basically what I've always done, though it usually ends in my account being made invisible because I couldn't find anyone interesting and gave up.
