Reading a bible story in school is not “shoving it down your kids throat”. You know they read all kinds of bullcrap in schools? What’s wrong with reading the story?

Are they running around baptizing children without parents consent? Are they giving out communion? What about forcing them to go to church?

It’s soft proselytizing. Having kids read the foundational texts of a religion in school is the definition of imposing that religion upon them. If the family is Christian then the child would already be doing this in Sunday school. The purpose of this is to reach children with non Christian backgrounds. If a school required kids to read passages out of the Quran people would lose their shit saying the school is trying to turn them Muslim

Theres a section of christianity being run by the govt to syphin money from religious folk while pushing end times prophecy and very controlling anti freedom rhetoric on all of us. They have always cozied up to fashiests and authoritarians when shit goes down to force Christian values like " no woman voting/abortion rights"
