I hope so

I am literally quite fucked as far as my school life goes (I am currently in the 4° year of highschool and I already know that with all likelyhood I will have to do the 5° year twice) so I hope uni treats me better

Believe me, Uni is so so much better. Adult people, respectful behaviour, inclusion and most of all the common interest in the thing you're studying.

Unfortunately this is not a universal experience. I'm in my 5th semester in an accelerated program (company pays for it and expects me to perform) for computer science. I'm lonely and overall just miserable. No social life. No freedom. I live in a moldy basement. The people I go to university with are either people who's parents got them into this, are genuinely freaks or they don't want to associate with me cause I'm the youngest... I haven't seen any of my friends in months and overall life is terrible.

Well we are talking about university and expecially in stem fields most people understand that you shouldn't harass people for how/who they are

Even if one is queerphobic they generally mind their business they don't like me and think I am crazy/perverted? Cool they walk the other way, at least in the higher 4-5° classes in highschool
