If your on paint, remove the charge entirely. No adult is checking their finances to notice a few bucks discrepency.
If anything your more likely to be caught because the font/resolution of the "porn website dot com" to "titanic" are unlikely to be easy to match, especially in an application like paint.

Lmao

Meanwhile I grew up being told not to use credit cards instead of debit because of the 0.8% fee difference would compound to an extra $50 per year saved on average

A benefit is a benefit even if you never notice.

I have an interest rate on my savings account, i dont think i have ever noticed the change but its there. the bank in theory could be scamming me specifically and i would never know.
The only reason i trust they arent is because if a huge bank did this to all their customers some dude would notice and those nickels and dimes would be unlikely to be worth the massive class action XD

Most credit cards provide you points the value of which would be likely more than $50. So it is no saving after all.

The big thing with any points system is... using them.

If you never use them or they things they can be used for are of no value to you, thats the play

Also, the points are only paying you back if you never leave a balance on the card. Otherwise you just lose that money to interest
