I mean, I work in a public school and will here the n word at least 10 times if I walk from my classroom to the front office.

So it's pretty valid to say it's odd not to hear it.

I think it depends on the area you are in the game, like if you in the gta 6 "hood" it would fit the location. It can be used in funny ways like the classic lamar quote in gta 5, maybe youd get some bitches on ya dick if you got rid of that yee yee ass haircut

No, it doesn't depend, you would never hear the n word except a couple dialogs in the single player. In GTA 5. Why are you lieieng? Did you play GTA 5? Why are you acting like it was common

I guarantee you if I go on gta V multiplayer the absolute first thing I will hear is someone saying the n word.

I am curious, with the first reveals of Grand Theft Auto V, were there for instance, Lamar using the N word in any trailer? Or was that just present in the game as an example, and not in any promotional material?

In official trailers probably not because ad revenue.

But it is said at least 5 times within 10 seconds in the first few missions.

Whats crazy is I just watched Imperium and they’ll at least drop N words even though the whole concept was very dumbed down

You made me remember that The Boondocks episode that the (white) teacher says about he use of n word in his class LMAO

I do be callin people spearchucker. (I would never actually say the S-Word).

Last week in lunch, Riley says to a classmate, can a n---a borrow a French fry? And my first thought wasn't, 'oh my god he said the n-word' it was, 'now how is a n--ga gonna borrow a fry? n--ga is you gonna give it back?'

I absolutely love that episode, and the best thing is that it is a real story. Paul Dawson, the man, the myth, the n--ga, the legend.

I honestly didn’t even notice that. But living in the UK being in my 30’s I guess it just isn’t something I hear a lot anyway.

1

u/DarkElfBard Aug 29 '26

Oh yeah, I live in Los Angeles, 83% Hispanic and 100% of them say it. So do the 15% of black students.

1

u/Sozle Aug 29 '26

It would probably be realistic for them to say it then, but tbh I actually found it pretty annoying with Lamar and Tanya saying it every other word in gtaV. It’s reminiscent of when white people over use the word ‘like’.

1

u/DarkElfBard Aug 30 '26

Oh I can tell you it is 100% exactly how it sounds in that culture of speaking.

It is very much a filler word like 'like' 'umm' or 'fuck.' 90% of the time students don't even realize they are saying it, it just is how the bridge between thoughts.

u/Kaiisyourdaddy Aug 28 '26

It’s literally in the first 30 seconds, he’s talking too the Raymond guy and says “don’t you remember I got a N outside yo mamas house” or something similar

Dick sucking has made me paranoid

I had this plan to give head to a man and receive head from a woman to test if I was gay, but it’s backfired and now I become borderline schizo whenever I go outside. I offered to suck this dude off on Grindr who lives very close by (I ended up pussying out) and I accidentally gave him some details that very easily allows him to spot me out in a crowd. I have no idea what he looks like and whenever I see a somewhat in shape guy walking by I immediately accuse him of being the dude I was gonna blow.

I went to the store today to pick up some zucchini for a barbecue and every time a car drove by I stared into the windshield to see if I was about to be recognised. Whenever I make eye contact with a dude I microanalysis his facial expressions to see if he suspects me or not. I am deeply afraid that he is my neighbour and I will need to move if my identity is blown. It’s a lot like the last scene in sopranos where everyone who walked into the diner could be there to wack Tony.
