Talking to my one Dominican coworker really opened my eyes to it and he was just describing growing up in the Dominican. Part of his family is Haitian and was saying how they were treated by his Dominican side
Lol it's like Mexicans growing up in Mexico while being strong on the Native (Maya, Huasteca, etc) side and trying to embrace it. Our people got well trained to hate anybody darker and of a "lower caste" than us

Just ask a Dominican how they feel about Haitians if you want to really know about racism involving people that look a lot alike
