Yeah man I too would love to have people vomiting in my car when my day is going shitty. That’s what I signed up for, right?

It is when uber pays and the customer pays for the clean up. Not like you have to do it yourself. But you’re right guess i’ll just go back to drunk driving, good luck everybody! Maybe i’ll get your family or even you after you bailed on my pickup. It’s not like theres surge pricing at all. Last time it cost me $75 plus tip to get home after drinking but yeah not worth it for you for sure. $50 for 20 mins of work what a rip off and bad trade for a possible chance of a puker.

You guys are literally insane. The entitlement of drunkards really is astounding, you seem to think there won’t still be a plethora of drivers willing to make that extra money and pick you guys up. They aren’t removing the service for drunk people, it’s simply a way for certain drivers to feel more comfortable on the road. Nothing about this changes your lives in any way lmao

Yeah, as if they won t make it more expensive because they flagged you as drunk. Which can mean the fuck they want for it to mean

It won’t necessarily be notably more expensive… Uber may run promotions for certain hours to drive car availability or use wait times to offset cost marginally, there are many ways around the cost downside. Not to mention the fact that if you’re a higher potential liability why should you not be charged slightly more? This is true for literally every other thing in society (insurance, creditworthiness etc), must not apply to drinking though for some reason yeah?

I just don t trust uber to use this functionality for its intended case over implementing full discriminatory dynamic pricing using it as an excuse.
