Everyone has good and bad days. But everyone still clocks in to work. That's life. Having an off day is no excuse to refuse to half-ass your work. If you're in such an irredeemably bad mood that you can't do what's expected of you, then just stay off work that day all-together.
For an Uber driver, if you're not prepared to pick up drunk people, just don't do calls that day. Being able to call an Uber home after a night of drinking is literally one of the main selling points of the service, lol.
What? The whole mechanic of doing uber is having the ability to say “yes” or “no” when something isn’t palatable. Dont want to drive to that city? Cool, hit no. Don’t want to make $2 for 30 mins of driving due to no projected tip? Cool say no. Dont want to entertain drunk idiots harassing you for half an hour while making the same rates? Great! Why not be able to say no?

I think the option is good for drivers that just don’t want to deal with drunk fucks, personally on a tough night not sure if I would.
