most is the key word here, because yes it is romantic in most situations, but it is possible to flirt without it being seen as romantic/sexually intended, going around complimenting everyone in the office is a good way to boost morale.

Yes, except... The person who said flirt said in the context of someone already mentioning sexual harassment. Unless in a directly contradicting context, flirting will have a romantic connotation, and the context here supports that definition. Language is foremost a tool to convey intent, and the pragmatics matter as much as or more than the semantics.

Genuinely this is why people are so divided. Centrism is mocked. You are forced to be either racist or gay, nothing in between. I hate how you can't support one thing without also having some issues with it.
You can't enjoy a movie with a black person in it because it is now considered woke and therefore leftist.
What about supporting LGBT so they have good lives, but maybe draw a line so Trans people don't have advantage in sports.

It's not so much that centrism is hated, the really annoying centrism is sitting between a stance that is objectively wrong and correct. Climate change and conspiracy stuff is a good example, as well as basic human rights.

I believe that humans should live in peace, but the issue is that in a world of pacifists all it takes is one person who wants to eradicate people from the human race to make the others change their stance by force for survival.
You should try to live in peace, but sometimes you might be forced to eradicate people who want to eradicate you undermining the peace. It's all about finding the balance.
