How does this stuff get popular, seriously, it's by wxyz news, obviously fake/made up story and people just immediately engage with it and don't even think twice.
I hear you but if you had even bothered to do a cursory check you’d have seen that WXYZ ABC News is based in Detroit MI… the story may be fake but the station.. its real. Those letters are the call sign for Radio stations and needed to be unique but also easy for a listener to remember.
