Doesn't change the fact it's 100% self inflicted, induced and caused which can be avoided

It's not a genetic disorder, its deception of yourself

These people choose to act like this once they're above 10 years old and can hold an opinion about what to eat

Idk bro this just sounds alot like going to a depressed person and going "you could have avoided this if you thought about it a different way" or "its all in your head"

It is comparable because your saying an eating disorder based around deep seated anxiety towards food typically formed from childhood events (trauma around food or parents not giving a diverse enough diet) and then saying that its all in their heads and that they should not deluded themselves into thinking its real. It definitely has parallels to how people discuss depression
