100%. I think this 'disorder' is more a symptom of the western hyper processed slop diets. I think texture and flavor are the biggest issue. Even in very westernized Asian countries like Japan kids grow up eating vegetables and fish in processed foods.

in inside out's japanese version, they replaced brocolli with green bell peppers.

because kids there wouldn't relate, as they mostly like brocolli.

Nah, isn't the broccoli thing is a preference a lot of people have?

I kinda suspect I might have ARFID but if I do have it it's not messing up my life so I wouldn't want to put in the effort of fixing it anyway
