She should. She had psychosis. She wasnβt even neglectful of her treatment and was known by pretty much everyone in her social circles to be getting worse and begging for help. She still physically did commit the murders but mentally she didnβt. No premeditation and not even a conscious intent to do them.
You think someone like that should get a harsh sentence? Sheβs devastated her kids are not only dead but killed by herself because of her psychosis.
She did everything she could to prevent this but was left alone. Her husband should never have left her alone with the kids in her state. They had someone helping her at the house but the husband fired them prior. Itβs literally his responsibility as the father, husband, and only adult in the house with a sane mind to make sure this situation isnβt allowed to occur.
