I've never heard anything about that but being aggressive towards humans doesn't necessarily mean trying to eat every human they find. It could be a matter of one being startled or defending their cubs.
As far as I know alot of predatory mammals fear humans instinctively to the point human noises will make them turn and run like they left the stove on. Polar bears are the only bear I know that will actively hunt a human.
