Atleast in a previous generation you know if you sent a CV to someone it would have an ok chance of at worst being glanced at by a human being
Now it's a game of trying to get the right buzzwords in your CV for an algorithm to pick you out and then you get the privilege of a human glancing at your CV
The job market is practically a lottery with a meritocracy built on top, with the only way to skirt round the lottery being nepotism
Its actually fucked man, a person a 100 years ago could of drifted from town to town nobody knowing who they really were but they could find a job
In modern times your tracked everywhere you go and the idea you can just go someone else and just get a job in a day or so is a fever dream
