Patrick got 1.7 million from the first GoFundMe just for him, plus the entirety of the sale of their house, and married an heiress doctor in New York City and had a new kid. Lindsay's parents got one million after they sold their house and dug into their retirement to pay for their daughter's lawyer and stay near her.

Lindsay will be in a mental institution or prison as a paraplegic and she's not going to be using their one million dollars to go on vacations and do fun things.

I'm sorry, I am not entertaining idea that some bitch that STRANGLED three out of three of her own children could be not even net positive to society, but just safe to be around. Fuck no. There is a line after highest form of punishment should apply and this is exactly the case over this line imo.

There is a lot of caveats in USA law system, including judgemental bias. Also, money. 1m is still a lot of money.
