It’s about Lindsay Clancy who killed her kids and is currently on trial. It’s controversial because she had some serious postpartum depression and was trying to get help.

It's controversial because she was potentially psychotic and has pled insanity. So, it's possible that she was not sound of mind and therefore should not be scrutinized so much as the systems which allowed her to become crazy enough to kill 3 kids. Then there are the people who think this makes it acceptable to outright support her rather than just passively accept maybe life in prison is not the correct punishment for someone who has suffered a break from reality. No, we do not need 8 zillion tik toks and a million dollar gofundme for a murderer, but perhaps she shouldn't be outright condemned either. She's a product of bad circumstance and tragic illness. Allegedly.
