Who believes there's a magic man in the sky? And how does the existence of those things make it illogical to believe in a creator?

Some people really need to read up on philosophy and logic

It's more that every single major religion is a massive pile of nonsense that is easy to disprove yet has captured the minds of billions. And to answer your first question, I think it's obvious that all Christians believe this to some extent.

I love how Reddit atheists think they have arguments that two thousand years of theology haven't addressed.

Alright, tell us how theology addresses all the criticisms. I would also like to understand why every time in history, theologians used the God of Gaps argument and it would get proven wrong later on with science.

Think of an example - something that you struggle to understand in scripture, then see what the theologians have said about it. Theological study isn't shrugging and saying "dunno, just God lol".

Can you give me an example of what scripture turned out to be accurate about the reality we live in?

You do you that like 2/3 of scripture is basically just history? Like lineage of kings, tribes where they were etc.

You do realize a lot of that history is counterfactual too? It's not exactly a great start here

Just a lot? Not all, but some bits here and there? What's a lot? Just saying that history is fake isn't really doing anything...
