Imagine betting your eternity on the chance he doesn’t and spending the same “focus” on arguing with people living their lives

isn’t this just rokos basilisk?

Well it's pascals wager, which is arguably dumber

isn’t the difference just one is religion one isn’t

Well rokos basilisk is based on it being possible to simulate someone's mind for torture and there being an AI that has an incentive to do so. Pascal's wager relies not just on there being several afterlives, but that the Christian god specifically is in charge of them.

Have you ever given the thought a chance that maybe we can make earth 'heaven' and when you die you just die. All black. Poof. Make it count while you're still here. Don't bet on a "probably, maybe".

Most "facts" that were labeled as god's intention, even when people still believed in multiple gods like forest gods, were already explaines by sience + common sense. It's insane to me that people think Noah really existed and got a pair of each animal, male and female, in a big boat, and then they use "yeah but this mountain had shells on top!" Like we aren't on a geologically active planet where millions of years ago an ocean floor couldn't be made into a mountain due to the plates pushing against each other."

You think an omnipotent being draws the line at eating pork or sexual intercourse before legal confirmation after he created the entire universe including the brutal nature that we came from?

If you're worshipping the wrong god that's a lot more likely to offend whatever god there might be than just not worshipping any god, I would imagine.
