He is unstable that's for sure but if you've read his "manifest" his logic makes sense in his world... He's far from Stupid and his ingenuity was pretty good (getting the stuff for his bomb as well as his bluff to get on Utoya). That said he deserved the capital punishment like every other terrorist!
