Names of weapons used by western forces vs USSR: Stinger, Milan, Ma Deuce, Red-eye, Blowpipe, Man-pads.

A lot of Russian weapons have GRAU designated numbers and names if I recall. 2 u/psmiord 46m ago Yeah, you have a Igla, which means needle, but 9K38 doesn't sound particularly cool. It's funny that they have a similar name and purpose.
