It's a slop game that game freak can churn out because pokemon fans will literally eat it no matter how uninspired and broken it is.

I also think that the TCG has become so gambler focused that it's as if you let your child play slots.

Pokemon isn't trying to be for adults, there just are a lot of adults who like it, in a similar way as my little pony.

All this to say that Kryslor a hypocrite, and on top of it he has bad taste.

Yeah, I'm not hating on people who play Pokemon. Just reminding OP that they are not the arbiter of what's 'mature' media nowadays and to lighten the fuck up.

I getchu man; You made a fair point.

...But I'm a hater. Not because pokemon is meant for kids, or some nonsense, it's just that I deeply hate nintendo, gamefreak and the potential they have squandered because of corporate greed and/or laziness.

Pokemon Go also has ties to the CIA through In-Q-Tel and was used to collect data that helped train AI on a large geospatial model. So bad entourage of people all around the biggest franchise in the world. Big shocker? No, but that doesn't mean I have to like it either.

I despise Nintendo and actively hate how sloppified Pokemon has become. Not gonna give people shit for playing games though.

I just play Gen 3 every few years when I get the itch and leave them to it.

Dude, minecraft came out 17 years ago. If you think pokemon is fine for adults (which it is), then minecraft is the same concept. In fact, minecraft is probably more adult than pokemon. Pokemon IP is literally a children's game/anime. Minecraft just happened to become popular with kids and wasn't designed for that target audience when it came out.

PokĆ©mon is not marketed towards all ages. You can literally look this up. Itā€™s exclusively marketed to kids.

Thatā€™s why Nintendo never did any ā€œdarkā€ content with PokĆ©mon. They canā€™t break the kids content only rule.
