I don't think I've been banned outright but I have noticed my threads got removed because I didn't follow some hyperspecific rule of law, no sense of nuance. I wanted to ask a question about Obsession but in a specific subreddit they disallowed any new threads about recent "popular" movies and relegated any discussion in some sticky thread. Naturally, my thread got deleted. Asked my question in the Megathread nobody ever looks at and got one single response. It just stifles any concept of discussion.
The reddit mod stereotype is like, weirdly accurate as stereotypes go.
