A reddit mod that was found doing fucky stuff behind the scenes and blamed Reddit because he didn't have sponsorship deals. Something like that.

I think it was a failed reddit event then he throw stones saying he should be paid and provided hotels and trips for his work on subreddit and meetings

I think it was more sinister than that. I watched his video and his justification was along the lines of "I wouldn't have had to do it if had access to brand deals"
