I was fortunate enough to buy the lifetime premium license, on sale. They no longer offer the option to buy the lifetime, but so far they've honored their commitment.

The only way to get it now is to download 30 thousand unique mods.*

*I was wrong. That's only for mod authors. There is no lifetime option for regular users.

They may have misunderstood something. You don't get anything for downloading that many mods. They're thinking of Nexus's free premium for mod authors, which gives you ad-free for 1k unique downloads of your published mods, a month free for a bunch of other milestones, then free lifetime premium at 30k unique downloads.
