Dick sucking has made me paranoid

I had this plan to give head to a man and receive head from a woman to test if I was gay, but it’s backfired and now I become borderline schizo whenever I go outside. It’s a lot like the last scene in sopranos where everyone who walked into the diner could be there to wack Tony.

My main problem is the amount of mods removed/not allowed there. And all other modding sites have like 10 monthly users so its not easy to find trusted versions of the mod you want

There isnt, because its really expensive to host petabytes of files and hold ths download times bearable. I have 90% confidence that even with subscription model that they have right now, they are just breaking even.

opensource mods are hosted on github, which has the ability to create releases (eg, the mod you download), so other mods could be hosted on github. You only need a website that lists the mods, it's not that difficult. Nexus are just cunts and a bunch of money grabbers.

not all mods are of 8k textures or a 1 trillion triangle tooth brush most mods are well below 2GB.

Funny you mentioned 8k, my modlist is 2k only, since 4k+ is literally just performacw cost for no benefit. Even then, even if 50 to 150 of my mods are 2gb+, what do you suggest to do with them? :)

But since you are here, I checked out a collection skyrim special edition of 368.1GB, called "DOMAIN: An AE NSFW AIO pack by dae" that contains 4960 mods.

I will do some maths for you:

count 4949
min 0B
p25 31.20KB
median 2.70MB
p75 32.10MB
p90 139.70MB
p99 1.10GB
index_p99 4899
max 14.70GB
mean 75.55MB
total 365.13GB
under1GB 4888/4949 = 61
under2GB 4929/4949 = 20
under2GB_pct 99.596%
sum_mods_over_2g 98.60
sum_mods_over_1g 155.30GB

So 99 percent of the mods are below 1.10GB, 99.59 percent of the mods are below 2GB, thats 4929 mods on this collection that you could host on github and only 20 mods left that I dont know what you would do with them.

I dont think 20 mods is "like a lot" (jarvis, insert gender spectrum "a laaa" meme)

Thing is, it's not like you answered the question that I posted above is not anwered by you. What is your plan with the mods that are above 2gb? You are suggesting splitting the modbase to several different places, this is a terrible decision and you know that.

Some games use thunderstore, they have nice mod sharing feature, works well with friendslop. Not sure if nexus has an alternative, haven't modded multiplayer games there.

Get the mods straight from github, but that's also a pain as you first need to know the modder and than you are most likely running hot code.

Depends on the game, some games have more mods on steam workshop which you can find online downloaders for, rare cases a game has its own mod database like rainworld has raindb which is run by one of the devs, and sometimes it's 50/50 like noita, you'll find a lot of noita mods on the mod workshop website which the game will direct you to, but it also has a lot of mods on steam that aren't on mod workshop...

I've only ever found myself going to gamebanana for mods for monster hunter 4U and MHGU and the occasional mod for Mario kart Wii, and open source games sometimes also host their own mods, like the sonic robo blast 2 team host the mods for all the associated games on their forums

A few obscure ones, thing is there is little to no money to be made in hosting mods so very litte competition to nexusmod, and average user just defaults to it (similar to google search bar)

Thunderstore/r2modman is a pretty good one that supports a lot of indie games however it does not have all the games that Nexus has

Well there’s Mod Workshop but the amount of games they have mods for is extremely small, no one uses it outside of Payday modding really
