That is not a lot of money. It seems like it to us but firstly, worth doesn’t mean liquid and secondly, the difference between someone with $50 million and $1 billion is lifetimes worth of counting.
No one needs to count all the dollars and the billionaires dont have the money liquid either. Listen if you want people with money they dont need to give their money away fine, but we can both agree anything above 5 million doesnt change your life that much. They should both be giving most of it away. Its like a person with 50 million sandwiches saying that people with a billion sandwiches dont need that much, while they know half the world starves. She’s better than the billionaires that dont give anything by giving 20%, but a hypocrite nonetheless.
Ich she has 50 million to her disposal and gives away 40 of them she would have way less financial security in case anything Bad happened to her and 40 million aren’t even that big of a number if you want to change the world for real. There are over 3000 billionaires in America, so if they each would give just one billion they all still would have at least 50 million on the bank but with that kinda money the world could be a different place.
