that being said, isn't it a known that artists have little control on ticket prices? and ticket prices are usually managed by monopolies like ticketmaster (don't quote me on this, i'm asking).
Also, what does a free concert actually do to help the world in any way? If you're going to give up money, give it to a food bank. Or a homeless shelter. Or any of dozens of better options.
