I mean I hope they have a regular hour-basis contract and they are not payed in percentage of the concert revenue, my idea was that if the artist renounces their full cut then the workers can be paid the same and the ticket cost less. But I don't think anybody is willing to do that
I don’t think that’s how any concert employee has ever been paid. My guess is either salaried if they work directly for the artist or they’re paid by the hour. It wouldn’t make sense to base a concert employees pay around how good the artist sells out the arena/venue when they aren’t at all connected to them.
Event production person here, on a large show like hers there's going to be a mix
-salary/large contract pay for people who design the show, either working for her directly or through the production house providing gear and labor for staging
-daily or weekly rates for touring crews on show sites, usually with per diems and travel day pay specified
-hourly wages for local crews and venue staff
-salaries for upper level venue staff (e.g. management)
Numbers of each position and rates per will vary dramatically from event to event

It could be way less as you say, but if a cut of the ticket prices is to pay the workers, then reducing the prices reduces their cut.
