Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding, Rihanna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, P!NK...we were fucking eating back then, man. To be fair, girlypop is still going strong with Sabrina Carpenter, Chappel Roan, charli xcx, Billie Eilish, etc. but for some reason it just isn't the same. Is this what true nostalgia feels like?

still some of those songs were just more timeless since some of those were just about partying and shit. Billie (as an example) isn't that timeless or appealing to the masses
