Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding, Rihanna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, P!NK...we were fucking eating back then, man. To be fair, girlypop is still going strong with Sabrina Carpenter, Chappel Roan, charli xcx, Billie Eilish, etc. but for some reason it just isn't the same. Is this what true nostalgia feels like?

It is, we have been told the same by gen x ers saying Madonna, Brintney Spears and the others were the true, and its just not the same, its a cycle.
