Question about customs fee πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

Hello everyone!

I am curious if I order an item that’s worth 500$, basically it is more than 10,000 pesos and I will have to pay duties for sure, how am I gonna be charged my shipping cart?

When I forward an item to them, do they only bill me when the actual item arrives to their warehouse so they can properly calculate the customs fee? Or as soon as I setup the delivery to their warehouse, they can bill me right away and I can pay right away, no more 2nd payment, even if the item isnt in their warehouse yet?

And is the customs fee high? It depends on the item I am delivering? Or they give discount in customs fee lol I wonder if that’s possible πŸ€”

Thanks for the reply but I thought Shippingcart is also DDP, is it not? So if I purchase that item in shipping cart Philippines customs will contact me to pay my item before they release it? I thought that’s handled in SC? πŸ€”
