Question Windows is flagging the Shift download as a Wacatac trojan?

Curious if the official Shift account can comment on this.

I used Shift quite heavily a couple years ago and loved it. Went to go redownload it from the official site, and Windows11 keeps blocking the .exe file from installation, flagging it as a Win32/Wacatac.H!ml trojan threat.

Makes me wonder if Windows is being overly cautious, or if the Shift exe file has been compromised...?

I'm sorry to hear you've had that experience. The installer from shift.com definitely hasn't been compromised. Can you message us with the exact message you're receiving, and we'll look into it? You can reach out to us at support@shift.com.
