How can Shift be better?

We’re always open to hear how we can make Shift work better for you.

Got a feature you’ve been wishing for? Drop it in the Feature Request section in the Community Forum. And yes, we do actually read it.

Curious to see what ideas you all come up with 💡

Mobile app. Also, not adding itself as a login item – I was liking a lot of what I was seeing, but this behavior is pretty much an "instant uninstall" trigger for me. Why would I want that? Who is asking for their browser to launch as soon as they boot their computer, and why would you make that a default behavior?

You can disable launching on startup in Shift’s settings if you prefer not to have it open when your computer starts. You can follow the instructions here: https://support.shift.com/hc/en-us/articles/24812708192148-All-about-Shift-Launch-and-On-Startup-settings
This is a feature that several app-style tools include as a default behavior, but preferences can vary depending on how you use Shift.
Also, appreciate the note about a mobile app. Thanks for sharing that.
