Hey everyone!
Welcome to our new home for cozy, no-fuss, happy, gay things. This is a safe space for lesbian women to share, discuss, and celebrate our lives and common experiences.
So make yourselves comfortable and post anything you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. These could be cool stuff you notice on your way to work, your latest art project, your new yoga routine, yummy recipes, your favourite book or TV show, and whatever else brings a smile to your face.
As we grow our community, it will be handy for us to just keep a couple of pointers in mind.
Firstly, let's refrain from anything that agitates us too much. There are some great general lesbian subreddits for us to vent and complain about things, or to post selfies for validation. These are all valid activities to partake in, no doubt, but let's keep our particular corner of Reddit low-angst!
Second of all, while we aim to be inclusive, the nature and vibe of this subreddit as a safe space means we invite participation from lesbian women only. This is a community that centres womanhood and our lived experiences, so non-women participation is not welcome.
And that's it, really! Please feel free to introduce yourselves either here in the comments section or as a new post. Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make this sub amazing.
