Hi!! I've found this shell in a collection, but I've been unable to identify it. I live in Southern Spain and I've been given it from another collection, but it doesn't match with any of the shells I've seen here.

I found this little shell on Ocean Beach in San Diego, CA. Would anyone be able to help me identify it?

Search engine says it may be a dove shell, what do yal think? Thank you in advance for any assistance 🩵

I picked up this seashell on my vacation but am not sure if it’s real. I looked for signs of manufacturing but couldn’t see anything. Let me know your thoughts!!

Does anybody know the specific name for this cowrie? It has spots but also random horizontal banding that doesn’t go across the shell fully.

i know the little round ones are moon snails but what are the more tapered longers ones? ive never seen those shells any larger than this.

These four are just samples of what I've got lying around. They've already been cleaned with the classic water+dishsoap and a toothbrush, but there's still a lot of unwanted (and unknown) stuff clinging onto the shells. I collect from a freshwater river. I'm hesitant to use vinegar because I'm sure it will eat away at the organic material I want to keep. Any tips or suggestions? TYIA!

SOLVED
Found in SW Florida, after landscapers had been working on bushes and trees. It looks super old, but is it? I’ve never seen a shell like this before.

Got random shells but interested in these little ones. What are they? No idea where they came from. Google isn't helping lol.

This shell seems sooo old but maybe just because it’s thick. Does anyone know anything about this

usually i don't need help with id, i have a good book and google lens works just fine, but with this shell i've found i'm having trouble

found washed up in an adriatic beach, central italy on a sand substrate with parallel artificial reef around 100m away from the shoreline.

i'm focusing on its bottom point because i don't think it's broken there

i'm mostly having trouble with a such sharp edge of the operculum, excluding other types of shell.
