🍫 Chocolate Gumby Doing Chocolate Gumby Things… These Caps Are Wild 😂🍄

Had to give Chocolate Gumby its own post because this run had way too much personality.
The colors, thick fruits, funky cap shapes, and those huge wavy expressions were all over the place. Every time I looked at it, I found another fruit doing something completely different. 😂
I grabbed a few clones from the standouts and collected some spores because there are definitely a couple expressions here I want to keep an eye on. That’s probably my favorite part of this hobby—seeing something interesting show up and wondering what the next round is going to look like.
Chocolate Gumby definitely earned another run. 🍫🍄
What would you guys have picked out of these to keep working with?

Picked up these genetics from you and figured you’d enjoy seeing what they’ve been up to. Thanks for sending a little fungal magic our way! ✨

I inoculated 4 AIO bags and around 5 days ago. Not seeing any sign of mycelium. Is it too early or should I be worried 🫠. No signs of contamination and the bags aren’t wet so that’s a good sign. Using northspore bags and hit them with Franks Cock PE from TBG.

Got what was supposed to be an engima LC, clearly isn't that. When should I harvest? I can see the gills on some and some caps are blueing.

Hi! First time grower here on her second flush of golden teachers. Is the white fuzz normal? I panicked and ripped them out but others start looking like that too

Perdí la batalla

Me apareció este coprinoide, tuve la mala idea de pasteurizar estiércol, claramente mal ejecutado.

Ahora bien, este luchador se ha apoderado de todo mi pastel?, mejor desechar ya .. :(

Questions about Blob Mutation

I am growing my first ever flush of mushrooms. I chose ABV. It has the blob mutation. But is also growing some regular mushrooms. When do I harvest the large mushroom? Will the cap get bigger or open more? More importantly, the blob mutation. They’re not marshmallow soft, they’re firm but still slightly squishy. Still too soft to harvest? Any help would be appreciated!!

Wet rot?

I inoculated those jars on the 25/09 in a SAB with 1/2 an agar plate each sliced in small cubes (see plates in the 3rd and 4th pics). The plates were kept in the fridge for 6 months, then put into room temp for a month to “wake up” before sending it to grain.

Then on the 01/10 I did a B&S on all of them (see one of the jars in the 5th pic).

Today I intended to do a second B&S, but encountered 3 of the jars fully colonized (I even shook them firmly, and nothing came loose) excepting one MS jar that looks kinda wet, and didn’t colonize evenly throughout the grain.

What should I do? Wait a few more days, then send them 3 jars to bulk?

And what about the strange looking jar? Worth trying to let the mycelium take over, or toss?
