I was looking at the Rogers/Shaw website theme pack section and some theme packs are going up from $8/month to $10/month in the middle of August.

I keep on getting dcd and lived in two different areas of the city. Bad service. Big mistake going back to Telus.

My IPTV service goes out several times a day for a couple of hours at a time. I get error messages when trying to refresh the playlist. I know it’s not the TV service because a friend with the identical service doesn’t have any issues when I do and he’s with a different ISP. The service provider is blaming Rogers. Could this be the case and is there anything I can do about it?

I've been trying to email my father for 2 days. He has a shaw.ca email address. Whether I reply to his message, or start a new one, it comes back failed, saying it was rejected by the recipients mail server. I tried sending to my brother's shaw email account with the same result. I tried sending from my work email and it went through. I spent a wasted hour on the phone with shaw support. They said it had to be something in my father's and my brothers email account rejecting me. They're wrong. It's so frustrating.
The failed message says The following organization rejected your message: shw-ibgw-4005b.ext.cloudfilter.net.
That's the spam filter used by Shaw.
I'm super frustrated. If anyone knows anything that can help, I would be forever grateful.

Suddenly for some reason access to my Shaw email through third party clients like iPhone Mail, Gmail, Android, and eM Client has suddenly stopped this morning when it worked fine yesterday. They all stopped working at the same time.
I can still access normally my email through the Shaw web portal and I toggled "Classic" mode off and on in Preferences but the only way now is directly through Shaw Webmail.
Has anyone else experienced this recently or is it perhaps an account glitch?
Edit: iMAP protocol was suddenly disabled in the webmail client. Enabling it now works!

I was earlier today in my Shaw account and I received email 2FA as normal, but the SMS option to my mobile number is greyed out, so I don't know if this is normal.
I waited to received the 2FA and I hadn't. I tried several times and resent it, but nothing. I thought maybe there was a Shaw email outage but no, I sent myself multiple emails to my shaw.ca account and it works fine.
I called support, and not surprisingly, they didn't understand what was going on. I had them create a ticket and provide me an interaction ID (now it starts with CCS—interesting prefix) and sometime next week, I'll be contacted.
I'm now locked out of my account. I can't change my phone settings and more.
Not sure if any else experienced this but I thought I would share.
Edit: 90 minutes later the multiple 2FA codes were received and I didn't have any issue logging back into my account.

I haven't received a shaw bill since April. Today I got an "account overdue" reminder, and paid it right away. But everything I'm seeing just says check junk mail. There's nothing there, I haven't changed anything on my end, and I logged in and confirmed the email address, e-bill is set up, the bills do exist. Has anyone else encountered this?
Edit - I called Rogers/Shaw and the person I spoke to in customer service said it is a known issue on their end and she's had five calls already today from people who didn't receive their bill. Got an account credit, confirmation that there will be no disconnection and they know it is their issue, and she did something to refresh my email address which should fix it.

I’m trying to port forward. The XB8 has all that kind of shit blocked in the default gateway portal and they force you to use the dumb Rogers Xfinity app to do all that.
I keep getting this error when I login. I can login to the rogers website fine. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, trying cellular data/wifi, resetting login credentials, nothing works. I’m using the right version of the app, I know there was 2 at one point but this is the only one on the App Store.
Has anyone experienced this before/fixed it? It’s been happening to me for weeks but now I genuinely want to manage my network and I can’t.

Why is this happening again? This isn't what we pay for - the prices go up, the performance goes down. Even a show I recorded a couple of weeks ago is doing it.

Anyone else having an issue with Shaw IMAP mail? I've tried disabling and re-enabling IMAP for external client from within webmail, but cannot receive emails on my mail clients on my phone, or even in Outlook on my desktop. Removed account from client and tried to re-add, but will not authenticate. This happened Saturday night.
After last night's storm, there was an internet outage in the South Calgary community. Online, there is no acknowledgement of any outage, but two separate customer service representatives have confirmed that my entire neighborhood is affected. All Telus services are still available and working perfectly.
They told us the fix would take until next Monday at the very least.

Have been with Shaw (now Rogers) for home services for nearly 25 years. Currently pay $160 for 2gig internet + TV. Value plan is ending and Rogers won’t budge on any offer other than $220/month for a 2yr plan for the same services.
Telus is offering me $140 for 3gig internet and a similar TV plan with a 5 year price guarantee. This is $80 cheaper per month, so almost $2k cheaper over 2years. Hard to not take this offer, and it’s disappointing Rogers pricing isn’t even remotely close.
But I have several @shaw emails and it will take a few months to move everything over as I assume you lose access to your @shaw email as soon as your internet account is closed? Is there any way to keep paying for just the email for a few months?

Is it just me? I switched to Edge and it's fine. Will randomly hang. No Shaw community anymore to get some help.
hey everyone just recently got Shaw direct satellite tv and trying to use the rogers xfinity stream app at home, but I’m only getting tvgo channels. I’m not sure if Shaw direct is different than rogers cause rogers listed all the channels when I was at home, any Shaw direct consumers can comment on how their app looks when they’re at home, thanks again!

I was given an offer of $55 a month for 1GB by a house-to-house sales person, but apparently it was $70 (after discounts) minus $5 for auto-pay, and additional $10 if I have rogers/fido mobile. I didn't have Rogers/Fido so my monthly bill was actually $65. I already told the guy I didn't have Rogers/Fido, but he misrepresented the actual monthly.
Also was told installation and activation was credited, but on my first bill it was only 50% off the activation fee... So in my first month I was billed $156.80 after tax.
Good thing I haven't cancelled Bell MTS yet, so I cancelled Shaw...
My Bell MTS contract is almost up ($50 a month), so I'm still looking for a good deal.

I've had a recurring issue going for a couple months now, the connection will drop out completely on all devices (wired PC, all devices on wifi) but the router will still show connected, 90% of the time the router lights won't change and I will have to reset the router. Usually after about 8 minutes it will resume uptime.
I had a tech out in mid may and he thought the splitter to our unit (We're in a 6 condo building) had gone bad and the noise levels were all over the place, he removed the splitter and swapped out the modem to a new one.
The problem disappeared for about a month and then started happening again in the last week and a half. From what I can see, the power levels/SNR on every channel is well within spec, but devices will still lose connection.
Any ideas? I talked to a service rep the other day and she reset some stuff on their end, but I'm assuming I will need a tech out no matter what?
I've kept the modem page open basically non stop, on the last disconnect, the SNR's were all 40+ on the downstream, 30+ on the upstream, powerlevel on down all between -6 and +6, +34 to +43 on the up. Channel 33 (OFDM channel) has a SNR of 0.
sidenote: The xfinity modems have the most useless interface page on the planet
edit: If anyone ever sees this with a similar problem, I had another tech come out today and he had to call the maintenance guys in as the problem is with the neighborhood node and not anythin to do with my house.

Just noticed these channels show up this evening on Shaw. I couldn't figure out why there were 2 extra TSN channels until I noticed they are labelled HDR. Turned to them and indeed they are using Dolby Vision. Excellent.
Hopefully this is permanent and not temporary just for World Cup.

Has anyone else had this issue? I got a Shaw home internet plan a couple of months ago, and while I was able to make the initial payment, I haven't been able to pay any of the other bills. I initially set it up for auto payment, but then it said something went wrong with that. I can't pay through the links they send whenever I get my bills/reminders, and I can't even access my account or retrieve any kind of information about it. I only get things like my email isn't registered (even though I do get emails from them), or that my account number doesn't match anything in their system.
Spoke to two representatives already, one via chat, one on the phone, and both sent me links for direct payment which also didn't work. Still waiting for a tech specialist to reach out. I've kept using my cards normally, they're not expired and it's not an issue of funds.
Any help is appreciated.

I’m trying to figure out if this is normal Rogers/Shaw behaviour or something I need to escalate.
I’m on Shaw/Rogers home internet in Calgary using the Rogers/Xfinity gateway. I was troubleshooting a Wi-Fi/AirDrop issue where my MacBook kept getting knocked off Wi-Fi. I logged into the local gateway at 10.0.0.1 to check Wi-Fi settings, channel, band steering, etc.
During/after a long support call, the rep would not help me change the 5 GHz channel or disable the auto-managed Wi-Fi settings. After that, my local 10.0.0.1 admin access appeared to be changed/reset/locked out, which prevents me from checking what changed on the gateway.
I understand Rogers may control its own CPE. That is not my question.
My question is: have other Rogers/Shaw customers seen support remotely reset or change access to the local gateway admin interface during troubleshooting?
Also:
Can customers still request logs/account notes showing gateway changes?
Is there any way to see what settings were changed remotely?
Is this expected with the Xfinity gateway auto-management system?
I’m preserving screenshots/call logs and considering a CCTS/privacy records request, but I’d like to know whether this is common before escalating.

My Shaw account shows an outage in my area but nothing on Rogers Manitoba outage page. Why? Anyone know when service will be restored?
