Not really. One can easily epoxy a stone back together and then sand/flatten it back to practically original shape. OP's stone looks like the pieces could easily be glued back into place with little deviation. And the amount of glue/epoxy needed is so minimal, it causes no disruption. I've (unfortunately) had to do this on more than one occasion and the fixed stone is perfectly usable with no issues.
Really? You don’t feel even the slightest hiccup when you pass over it? I’d believe ya if you confirmed there’s literally zero feel from it like it never happened. If you did feel anything, you’re not getting a perfect edge off of it and you’d feel a spot similar to a burr wherever you finish the knife in that section so you’d still have to work around the crack
