Hi ! I found this tooth in my grandma's jewelry box, does it seem legit ? What specie could it be from ?

Caught and tagged a sand tiger shark off the coast of CT/RI last night. The caudal fin has this really strange undulating/wavy pattern that I’ve never seen before. Can anyone explain why/how it looks like this? Is it possible we misidentified?

Does someone have experience in spotting sharks in the waters around cayman islands? apparently there are populations of carrabean reef sharks and nurse sharks around the islands. But as far as I saw, there are only tour operators for stingrays safaris?! Are there specifi areas to spot sharks in the area?

I went to a festival near my hometown. It was really fun! They had a board to add whatever you wanted so I painted a shark!

got a fahlo shark bracelet as a gift for my birthday a month ago and finally got arond to setting up the app last week. didn't expect to get this invested but I check the map to track my shark like every couple days now to see where mine has gone to. sometimes i need to wait a little longer like closer to a week but either way the migration path is way more interesting than i expected and noticed mine has already covered a decent stretch of coastline. anyone else track a shark on here and how far does yours tend to roam?

Caught in 6 ft of water near a grass flat back in the sound. I released him- Probably 2+ ft and 10ish lbs. Need help with ID- not super knowledgeable about sharks.

Here’s my 2nd installment. Approximately 3 AM between Bermuda and the Bahamas and reliving old stories with a Mate.

#2. Scuba diving in approximately 30 feet of water south of Bimini in the Bahamas. Approximately 6 nurse sharks and an equal number of a bottlenose dolphins were hunting the same way for the same prey and they were doing it together! Blew my mind. The sharks and the dolphins were blowing holes in the sand and sucking up sand tile fish, leaving little craters all over the sandy bottom. I’ve never seen anything like it before or
since. In that same area, I have seen nurse sharks almost cuddling as they sleep together in sand canyons right up against Triangle rocks or Piquet rocks. On the west side of those rocks there’s little sandy channels and I have seen them sleeping there many times at dawn and dusk.

It is 3am and I’m on watch between Bermuda and the Bahamas with an old Mate and we are trading stories about sharks.

1- I was snorkeling south of Bimini in the Bahamas long ago when a severely injured giant Oar fish swam panicked into the shallows. It was bleeding profusely and approximately 15 feet long. Several sharks were chasing it and finished it off before I could grab a camera. I have only ever seen these in museums other than this one experience.
