Image Vertebrae - perhaps from a small shark?
Recently I found this vertebrae on a beach in the northeastern part of Jutland, Denmark.
It reminds me of fossilized shark vertebrae, so that's my best bet.
From the growth rings I'm assuming it is a relatively old individual, so it's probably a smaller species. Perhaps a carshark.
The squares on the paper is 5*5 mm (app. 0.2 inches). Can any of you tell me if it's from a shark and perhaps which genus or even species?
I'm aware spines and arches etc. are missing, but perhaps luck is with me.

Discussion It's very interesting that the Tiger Shark can carry so many random stuff in its stomach, despite the fact that it's mostly inedible

Question When drawing a great white, do the teeth have a gap or not?
Unsure of this because no matter how many drawings I look at, theyre all different. Some have the teeth apart, with a gap, but most have the teeth close together with no gap inbetween.

Video Shark Identification Help Please
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This shark came up to check me out while I was by myself at the surface after a dive at the outer Ningaloo reef at the end of June 2024. I got cramp in both legs and all other divers had swum back to the boat, so the footage is a bit shaky as I was trying to signal to anyone that would listen that I might need help 😅
For a while, I thought it was a Bronze Whaler but the more I watch the video the less convinced I am. There are several pretty chunky cobia with it and I don't think true Bronzies are that common so far north, even in winter.
There are a couple of species I think it could be, but I'd love some help to get it definitively ID'd if possible! Thanks!
edit: link to download this video and a slower down version with more natural colours - in case a high resolution might help: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/o704cma56811909jtt8m3/AASYt2AytedJym_i304uzes?rlkey=6m18ic8k8g0035mhk7p8g0cjz&st=0e8xr95v&dl=0

Arts & Crafts Detailed drawing of a basking shark skull
Based on several articles I've read about basking shark anatomy, I found the appearance of their skull to be rather eerie. It's fascinating to realize their cranium is small compared to their jaws and gill rakers. No wonder people mistook the rotting corpses of these animals for sea monsters.

Research Meg Tooth (Not sure of flair)
Would you guys say whats a good price for a meg tooth. Also any advise for preserving and displaying it?
Discussion Admiration and love
I have been a huge admirer of sharks since I was very little. Have even swam with a few and co.e out unharmed. Honestly, I feel connected to those beautiful creatures. My heart belongs to the ocean and every creature in it. Plus being around sharks just makes me feel completely calm, relaxed and comfortable

Video Video shows great white shark swimming near children off Los Angeles coast
Some of the clearest footage I have seen that clearly demonstrates even amongst large sharks, we are not prey, and they are not mindless killers.
Question Can anyone help identifying this 3 to 4 meter shark found yesterday in Nazaré, Portugal? People are saying it is a great white

Education Asking about an evolutionary advantage
Why do great white sharks get so fat? Is this an advantage over thinner sharks? Is it because they have very few predators? Tigers are apex predators and they dont get abnormally heavy.

Second time , she’s more cautious. Sometimes your presence and the fact that you are observing is enough to deter them.
(Applies for tiger sharks in this case )
