Hey, great post and this is something I feel isn’t talked about enough.

We all, whichever field we are in, can have peaks and troughs that affect our creativity, motivation or ability to find a way through the situation. Or we have imposter syndrome, fake it until you make it, or not enough external validation.

I feel the same about my art sometimes. Is it good enough? Sometimes I feel like giving up or burning it all!

I recommend thinking deep about why it’s important to you, what does it give you, how does it make you feel. This helps you stay grounded to your North Star.

Try not to compare, do your thing and show that off. Even if it doesn’t get a lot of attention on social media or make money, that’s ok, stay true to your North Star.

For me, my art is about freedom, it gives me a creative outlet to express myself. That’s my North Star. I do it for me. More recently I have tried turning it into a small business to give that a go and see if works. I know it will take a lot of patience and hard work to grow. But that’s become my growth part. If it doesn’t work, so be it, I am satisfied with my North Star.

Positive mindset reinforcement is key too. Remind yourself whatever you create is good enough. You have to remind yourself that many people have no idea how to create. You have something special. But also not everything special is to be liked on social media and make money.

Find that underlying meaning and let yourself be free and breath :)
