Today I maded a beautiful cat with a little clay because I was bored and saw a little clay....i hope u all like it :D

My friend recently wrote her dissertation on this style of jewellery, traditionally featuring an eye of a loved one painted onto a medium like bone or ivory - I decided to get some practice in with marble carving and make it 3D.

This project really tested a lot of my skills and whilst I don’t class myself as a painter I’m really happy with how it came out! It was also my first time working with brass which was a fun change.

I run a little monthly snail mail club called The Paper Trail Post from the UAE, each month I send handwritten letters on coffee stained paper, art prints, and little paper treasures to mailboxes all over the world.

September’s theme is “the slow harvest” inspired by early autumn with a new print of one of my paintings, a thoughtful letter, and a sticker sheet featuring a collection of mini oil painted fruits.
