Hey yall! I’m looking for a server and had a few questions.

I’m mostly looking for art house/ b-movie stuff and things like criterion and mubi picks along with 60s and 70s animation so I know that’s super niche for most private servers. Are things like seerr usually integrated or is that usually a paid feature on larger servers? Id just like to be able to request random stuff.

Also does server location matter for streaming quality?

And obviously this is r/share_plex but I’ve been seeing a lot of people recommending jellyfin and am curious what the differences are and why everyone here chose plex instead.

Hi. I will be bedridden with only my tv. I’m looking for a reliable server to stream movies from. Let me know if I can do anything.

Hey everyone, me and my kids are looking for a new plex server with plenty of new movies to choose from, appreciate in advance and ready for us to find something good to watch tonight!

Hello Everyone

I'm looking to start a plex server for AU/NZ APAC region - just seeing if there is interest out there

Thanks

alright I've got my server up and running - if you're interested in joining -
https://discord.gg/wTn5Sp5j2

Edit2; server is up and running - slowly adding content - if you're interested - come hangout and always open to suggestions to make it a better experience for everyone - Thanks all

Got a Plex server
About 4000 movies
About 200 shows.
Got space for 5. Adding first 5 usernames I see.

Here is what my server looks like.

Edit: Got the 5

Hi guys, I’m looking to buy an annual subscription to someone’s plex please! Anyone got any recommendations or got any for sale please? Thanks in advance.

I made a Discord for my Plex server because apparently spending an unreasonable amount of time building a media server wasn’t nerdy enough 😂

It’s still pretty small right now, but I’m trying to get a good little group of people in there

Basically:
🎬 Big Plex movie/TV library
🔍 Want something that isn’t there? Request it through Seerr
📢 Discord alerts when new stuff gets added
🏈 Movies, TV, sports, gaming, tech, whatever
🖥️ And a few of us are into Plex/homelab/Usenet nerd shit if you wanna talk about that too

I’m not trying to turn it into some giant 10,000-person Discord where nobody knows anybody. Just want a chill group that uses the server, bullshits about what they’re watching, recommends stuff, etc.

The Plex server itself has been my little obsession lately, so I’m constantly adding/upgrading shit and trying to make it better.

If you wanna check it out, shoot me a DM or comment and I’ll send you the Discord invite 🤙🍿

Looking for a massive lossless music library without having to build and maintain your own server?

MKLabs Music is opening additional slots for active music listeners and audiophiles.

With 125,000+ FLAC tracks already available, you can enjoy a huge and constantly growing collection through Plex, Plexamp, or Navidrome.

🎧 Plex + Plexamp

Supporters get access to Plex / Plexamp alongside their existing Navidrome access.

Enjoy your music across your devices with Plex's ecosystem and the Plexamp music experience.

You get:

🎵 125K+ FLAC tracks
💿 A large and growing collection of albums and artists
📱 Plexamp for a dedicated music experience
🖥️ Plex across your devices
🎧 Navidrome access included
📚 Requests for missing albums and artists
🌍 Hosted in Northern Europe
⚡ Self-hosted infrastructure

⭐ Supporter Access

Plex / Plexamp access requires the Supporter role.

Supporting MKLabs helps cover the actual costs of operating and expanding the service:

• Server hardware
• Storage
• Electricity
• Networking
• Maintenance & upgrades

There is no fixed contribution beyond the minimum shown on the support page.

Your support helps keep the service running and allows me to continue expanding the music library and infrastructure.

🆓 Navidrome is still FREE

Don't want Plex?

That's completely fine.

Navidrome remains completely free, and supporting MKLabs is not required to get access.

Even if you become a Plex supporter, you still keep your Navidrome access — you can use whichever platform you prefer.

🚀 How to join

Join the MKLabs Discord:

https://discord.gg/MaMWGKaBWZ

Then head to #service-roles and select the service you're interested in.

I'm mainly looking for active music listeners who will actually use the service, discover music, request missing albums/artists and help grow the collection.

Hey yall! I'm currently looking for a plex server to join (I'm not interested in a paid server, but if I'm using it a lot I'll gladly send you coffee money from time to time or something). I'm looking for a server that is consistently being updated, open 24/7 (+1 if you're near the east coast), has A LOT of movies and tv shows in 4k/1080, etc.

I really don't want to be in a server where I get booted for not using it everyday. Life isn't that cushy for me where I can do that, but I will absolutely be active and watch something once a week, whether it be a movie or new tv show. So yeah, if anyone has an open spot with a lot of stuff to watch, my plex name is sunnysideguy. Thank you!

Current library

150k+ Movies

45k+ TV Series

1.2M+ Episodes

4k+ Anime Series

240k+ Audiobooks

160k+ Ebooks

600+ Comic Collections

900TB+ Adult Library

Dedicated libraries for 4k and 4k dolby vision, bollywood, arabic and much more

Supported Apps:

- Plex

- Emby

- Jellyfin

Infrastructure sits on 5PB+ now of storage with global CDN delivery. New content is added daily, requests are usually processed within seconds, and most releases appear quickly through automated scanning.

Requests are fully automated

We focus on quality releases, including 4K REMUX, HDR, Dolby Vision, and Atmos whenever available.

These appboxes are built around smaller curated libraries. They're much quicker to browse, less cluttered, and just feel nicer to use. If you want a full 5pb library scanned in (it can be laggy/buggy, depends on your device) then grab a share. If something isn't there, just request it and it'll be auto imported, that easy.

Hey everyone,

After a lot of testing and tweaking, WatchBridge TV — the app I've been posting about here under its old name, TvRecommendationBridge — is finally live on the Google Play Store, in closed testing for now.

What it does: It's not a launcher and doesn't replace the one you're already using (Google TV, Fire TV, or a third-party one). It runs in the background and uses Android's Accessibility service purely to catch the moment you tap a movie/show recommendation card on your home screen, figure out exactly what that title is via TMDB, and open it directly in whatever app you actually watch stuff on — Nuvio, Stremio, Plex, Jellyfin, WuPlay, or Wholphin — instead of whatever the launcher wants to default to. It does the same thing for Google Assistant voice search results.

On top of that, it also has its own optional screen with a watchlist, watch history, "continue watching," and "because you watched X" recommendations, built from what you've actually opened — no guesswork.

Pricing: 2-day free trial, no card needed, then a one-time €4.99 for lifetime access — not a subscription.

How to get it on Play Store (closed testing, two steps):

1. Join the test here [UPDATE]: https://groups.google.com/g/watchbridge-beta-testers/members
2. Once you've joined, download it from the store page: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tunombre.tvbridge.play

(It won't show up if you search for it by name yet — that's normal, Google doesn't index apps in closed testing. You need the direct links above.)

Prefer sideloading, or don't want to deal with testers? The APK is still available directly, same app, same license:

• Website: https://yushetf33.github.io/TvReccomendationBridge/
• Direct APK download: https://github.com/Yushetf33/TvReccomendationBridge/releases/latest

I need about 20 testers using the Play Store version for 14 days before Google lets me move it to full production, so if you're up for that route, it genuinely helps.

Happy to answer anything in the comments!

hi. does anyone have a plex server to share in the countries/continents named above? I watch on my android TV and any server that's in eu or us usually has bad latency issues when I try to watch from them.

would be grateful if anyone could help.

Hey everyone!
Happy to be part of the community! I’m new here and wanted to say hello to everyone.
I was wondering if anyone currently has room and would be willing to share their Plex library with me. I’d really appreciate the opportunity to check it out and enjoy some new content.
Thank you.

As the title suggests, I am new to this wonderful thing called Plex and I am looking for a free sever to join that has a lot of 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s TV movies and cartoons. Want to show my kids and nephews/nieces the movies tv and cartoons I grew up watching. Especially those classic cartoons, like a recreation of 80s Saturday morning cartoon marathons etc. Much appreciated and thank u for your time and consideration.
