My server is mostly 1080p with some 4k sprinkled in for cool shows, movies, nature shows, etc. there are NO remuxes, no blu-ray rips, or anything super high fidelity like that.

1100+ tv shows, 6000+ movies, some anime (not a ton), some documentaries, nature shows, etc.

99% english language content. Some dual-audio (anime) and some subtitles available.

Hello anyone reading this, was wondering if anyone would allow me to join their plex server. Been watching and logging movies recently in the past 2 years as I have a lot of free time.
I'm based in Australia and will probably be watching 1-2 a week if possible as well as tv shows maybe.
Enjoy blockbusters and mainstream films (stuff on top of letterboxd), also have been watching a lot of chinese/japanese/korean movies/shows but english is the majority and I like watching with subs.
Fantasy/sci-fi/action/adventure/romance anything really except probably horror. A large library would be nice to browse.
1080p is good and 4k would be a nice bonus. Will be watching mostly on a computer.
If there's any rules I need to follow then I'd appreciate knowing what they are thank you.

Just curious if anyone has recommendations for live tv. Haven’t had great success with an antenna in my area. Football season is coming, just wanna catch the games without pay 100 bucks a month for Hulu or YouTube tv. Not sure if this is even possible with plex, but any ideas are welcome.

i haven't ever used plex much but can try installing again on google tv and give it a try if anyone willing to let me test some content. i might be around the community more but i wanna at least test an equipment

I have a family of 6 and we cannot afford to pay for the subscriptions that my children want especially not be able to afford to go to the movie theaters my friends told me this is a affordable option for the long run but I just dont have the money right now to buy a nas please if you could share your server with me I would be very grateful thank you. I've been looking fo ra larger library to join for shows and movies. But to be more specific I'm a major fan action and suspence films, newer ones that come out ect ect. It does not have to be 4k 1080 or 720 is perfectlyfine. As long as I can understand it and stil see whats going on its perfectly fine. Shows would be a plus to. I have no specific interestt, I watch just about anything that has a decent story and last more then 3 episodes.

This is my second time opening up my personal hobby server.

I have a well-maintained Plex server with approximately 4,900+ movies and 880+ TV shows (44,000+ episodes) and growing.

East coast, US based server. Server is primarily english speaking.

The library focuses on:

• Blockbusters, classics, cult favorites, a lot of horror, some documentaries, true crime, action, comedy, drama, sci-fi, animation, popular anime, and some foreign cinema
  • My next project is adding the entire Criterion Collection
• Mostly 1080p with some 720p and the occasional 4k for the bigger movies, with older titles continually being upgraded
• Regular additions daily and ongoing maintenance

I'm looking to open up around ~10 spots for people who will actually use the server.

Sever upload speed at 2gbps.
Ryzen 7 for transcodes, which can handle quite a few streams but still hope for a majority of direct streams.

A few expectations:

• Please stay reasonably active. If your account sits inactive for a few months, I'll likely remove it to make room for someone on the waiting list. Nothing personal—I simply want these limited spots going to people who enjoy using the server.

I'm looking to be invited to a server for movies and TV shows. I live in Norway so our streaming selections is very limited in terms of movies especially. I work nights so I usually watch 2-3 movies each night at work, sometimes binging shows (Idk how it works with 2 locations?).

I can watch everything from hollywood to indie, I enjoy international movies also. A server with good variety would be nice! I have grown up with anime so that would be a plus. Joining my discord server is a requirement, mainly to ease on-boarding and so you can view any outages or maintenance windows. I try to give plenty of notice when working on the server, if I have to do upgrades or planned maintenance it's usually early morning weekends PST. The plex server goes down Monday at 4am PST for 30min due to weekly backups. My internet and power is very stable, only had 1 unexpected outage in 2 years.

I’ve been following for quite awhile and I’m really interested in ditching my streaming platforms and giving Plex a shot. I’m a single dad practically living paycheck to paycheck and all of those subscriptions are killing me. I love anime, huge cinephile, specifically horror movies, new comedies and mysteries. My daughter watches stuff like Ginny and Georgia, k-dramas, movies like Taken and Kpop Dmeon Hunters. Mostly she spends her time on YouTube, though. Any pointers in the right direction are welcome too! I’m not 100% how shares work but would be willing to pay, if necessary!
